Windows 10 will launch its update of October

The Microsoft confirmed that hopes to launch its update of October.

Microsoft has not yet officially confirmed all that will be included in the October 2018 upgrade, but from what the company is actively developing, we can get some ideas on what's to come.

Now with the dark modes, the new update will be providing one of these modes for Windows Explorer, which in addition to looking stylish, means you can use your PC in a dark room without so much eye strain.

Your clipboard is also configured to receive a cloud-enabled update, which will make it easier to transfer text between different devices connected to the Internet. You can use the Win + V keyboard shortcut to paste plain text, HTML, and images less than 1 MB (via ZDNet).

As Microsoft's choice browser, Microsoft Edge, you will receive an update that should improve your performance and user interface.

The Trim Tool (which allows you to take screenshots of certain parts of your screen) is also receiving a keyboard shortcut of its own (Alt + Shift + S if you are wondering).

Finally, the Xbox Game Bar received a major overhaul. The game-focused overlay will now be able to show CPU, GPU and RAM usage. Although third-party tools such as RivaTuner Statistics Server have been able to do this for some time, having something built into Windows 10 should be a bit more convenient.
